traditional thai massage

Practised on the floor with the client fully clothed this system of Thai
massage follows the ancient teachings of Nuad Bo-Rarn. This northern
style massage incorporates acupressure and passive stretching to
invigorate and increase flexibility by releasing both superficial and deep
tension, allowing the body’s natural energy to flow more freely.

This unique type of massage works by gently moving the body into
a number of yoga-like positions, applying pressure along energy lines
to ease blockages and tension and to strengthen the flow of energy
throughout the body.

The techniques of pressure and stretches used to make up the thai
massage are combined in a comprehensive strategy. At Urban Oasis you
have the choice of starting with a one hour introduction, although for a
full body treatment this style of massage is ideally two hours or more.

A well recognised and precisely defined form of treatment based

We use New Zealand made Plantogen® products that care for all skin
types including sensitive skin. At Urban Oasis you have the choice of a
mini or deluxe facial. We begin all facials with cleansing the skin, gently
exfoliating to remove dead keratinized cells (making the skin’s surface
look smooth and clear), followed by a refreshing toner and finishing with
a suitable moisturiser.

Our deluxe facial offers additional treatments which includes a choice
of a honey, clay or nourishing seaweed mask, followed by a relaxing
hand and face massage. Refining treatments for eyes, lips and skin will
complete this deluxe facial to leave you feeling hydrated and radiant.
